Fuses
Blown a couple - popped into Halfrauds to get replacements, but they're almost twice the (physical) size. Where can I get some, or are they LR specific?Disco 5 HSE Lux

Blade fuses and Mini Blade fuses. I think you were looking at the former, whilst the car uses the latter "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

You could just walk into your LR service dept or just ask one of the techs to give you a mixed few in return for a couple of quid ?"To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

2 x 15 amp - accessory socket fuses for 1st and 2nd rows. When the inverter didn't work in the 2nd row I tried it in the front - that's when it caught fire 8) Disco 5 HSE Lux

Depending on the spec of your vehicle, there's quite a lot of unused fuses in both fuse boxes, so maybe you can use 2 from other circuits? LR seem to fit almost all the fuses regardless of the spec. Just a thought Previously:

There are also a few spares - they are marked in the manual I think?
Just buy a selection from www.vehiclewiringproducts.com and put them in "stock" its much better for those over-current moments Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...

Be warned if you do this; I tried with what I thought was an unused fuse and the dashboard lit up like a Christmas Tree, accompanied by a quantity of bongs like a steel band fell down a flight of stairs.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Sunroof fuse got the row 1 socket working
The towbar fuses are blade (not mini), so that's 2 lots of spares required Thanks for the advice. Guess I'll get a set of spares ready for next time. Never blown a car fuse before (obviously not trying hard enough!)Disco 5 HSE Lux
