Thanks again for the advice all. I ended up taking a slightly less conventional approach to fitment but they'll look tidy enough when the silver brackets get a lick of Hammerite! Not wired up yet but on another of my posts I ask about wiring and someone (sorry, can't remember who) have the switch for them in the enclosure for the interior light which looks neat. I plan on taking output for the switch from the high beam so I can only turn them on when high beam is on but likewise i can run high beam with them off too.
