Gap iid BT activation
Just purchased a gap iid BT G3 off the main website. I’m really struggling to find the activation code for the device.
I have registered and downloaded application to update the device firmware but still need to activate before hand.
I’ve followed the site advice:
- connecting the device to the car and waiting until instrument display reads ‘ready’.
But not sure where the ‘unlock screen’ is…
Any advice would be appreciated.

I am using my iPhone and have the app downloaded.
I have managed to update the iiD firmware.
I have registered my account, but the web site still suggests I need an activation code….

I’ve just registered mine - on the left press the unlock button and it will bring up a code. Email that code to gapteam@gap-diagnostic.com and they will send you an unlock code.if it’s 2nd hand hopeefully the previous owner has let them know that he sold it so they deregistered it.Land Rovers never get bogged! - merely delayed
