Not what I expected......

I have had my car for just over a year now, and in all the time, I have had a very annoying noise, tap, tick, call it what you want, but every time the car changed direction / camber, it would make this little tick. I have searched all over for it, but has eluded me until now. But was quite surprised to find out what was causing it.
I eventually found the offending object, in a little crevice under the blower outlet, that is underneath the satnav box under the passenger seat.....!

Psycho by name, chilled by nature....!

Psycho,
Sorry to be a killjoy but, do you have a shotgun certificate? If not, get someone who has to come and take it away.

flydive,
Over here you need a shotgun certificate to be in possession of a shotgun cartridge. We have some very strict firearms laws.

Sorry that is absolutely not corrected. Under Firearms law you need a shotgun certificate to purchase ammunition but you do NOT need one to be given shotgun cartridges or be in possession of shotgun cartridges. They are 'safety' cartridges and unless you are totally stupid they are fairly harmless the most dangerous bit being the percussion cap. To dispose of it carefully cut through the cartridge and throw away the wadding, propellant, cap and lead shot in the dustbin. If you are at all concerned hand it in to the Poilce.

Canburne,
I stand corrected. Once upon a time I was stopped by the police and had a shotgun cartridge in my jacket pocket. First thing they did was radio through to the firearms department to check that I had a shotgun certificate.
