Gearbox - change oil and service

Hi,

I'm about to replace the plastic gearbox sump with metal one on my Disco 3, and was wondering, while I am there is it a good idea to remove the mechatronic unit and replace the mechatronic sleeve and bushes?

These are the part numbers:

TGW500010 - adaptor/sleeve
2x TZT500010, TZT500020, TZT500030 - bushes.

Thanks,
Tiho

In one word... No.

Mechatronic is a separate part.

I meant to replace these as a preventive measure.
 Thanks,

the connector sleeve, yes. (new ones are difficult to push home)

If you mean the 4 tubes and retangular seal. If you are having problems, like rough changes then its worth doing.
If you don't have an issue then no

Thank you Pete.

Yes, I was referring to these 4 tubes and rectangular seal, and I don't have any issues with the gearbox, so will skip them then.
 Thanks,

It is recommended to change the mec sleeve at a service, but only if it is leaking because you can only change it with the pan off. As mentioned, stiff to put back in.
