General Grabber At2's Fitted

Hi,

Just had fitted a set of 265/70/17 General Grabber AT2's fitted to my car. Haven't tried them out yet but will report back when I have. Have to say they do look the job.

That's one chunky tyre, just over 1.5" taller than the 235/70/17. Your speedo is going to be out a bit, possibly under-reading by about 5%, but not enough to cause any real problems. Good tyres though; they seem to do the business in most situations. 8)

Thanks for the tip on the speedo, hadn't thought about that. Can the dealer recalibrate?

I've only done about 6 miles but I couldn't detect any rubbing. The guy who fitted them said he was a little worried about it becuase they were so much larger than the original tyres but he checked them all out and said he was happy they were fine.
