Intend taking our kayaks with us when we tintent in Cornwall this summer
I've no roof bars but know they come up often enough just wondering if any of you carry a kayak or canoe on yours
I would also use some kayak specific J shape carrier brackets that clamp to roof bars or roof racks.
Thinking of wind shear at 60 mph
My son's bringing the 90 down and will be camping next to us so maybe better to get a rack for that and let him carry em down

I’ve used the Thule J bars for kayaks - vital you use straps to the bows and sterns and secure them properly. From experience, the J bars are not sufficient on their own due to wind loading. They can and do break!
