Gloss Black / Piano Black interior parts

So I was thinking if I could extend the piano/gloss black look in my car to include the panel that surrounds the clock/audio controls and the panel that has the CD slot in it.

Are these pieces of trim easily removed, or is it a full dash out job?

Anyone had these bits refinished in gloss black?

Nobody have advice on removing the trim here? From youtube, it seems to just pull off on the D3, anyone have links or advice on the D4?

Thanks for that, very handy guide.

Also made me realise that the area around the disc slot looks part of the drive itself, and not just a fascia panel that can be removed/painted. This would limit me to only doing the upper section around the audio controls, which is now prob not worth it as it does not make up much of the console really.

Will think about it still though before I make a final decision.
