Discovery 3 was slow to start in the cold weather so I decided to check the glow plugs. Removed every thing that needed to be removed to get at the plugs . Checked the plugs with my power probe all 6 gone 4 will loosen 2 are totally stuck 4 plugs will definitely help the cold starting issue . One which I have loosened is the one in the lh cyc head rear most but it won't come past the high pressure fuel pump does this mean I have to remove the pump would appreciate some advice on this . you done well to loosen that one.
I guess you need to remove the pump then.
Its doable. Just a pain of the belt !
