Hi guys - car going to stealers for service tomorrow - I'm expecting the call regarding discs and pads - what is a fair price so I can laugh with conviction when they ring me?!!

TBH the V8 brake disc upgrade on a D3 is very well worth doing. Not so sure on the D4 - the brakes on that seem pretty good from the word go. Just MHO of course My17 Volvo XC90 Inscription

Just had rear discs and rear pads fitted. Got the rear pads and discs from nick £170 and charged 50 pounds to fit them. Front pads are £70 I think from nick.

Forgot to say this was at a indie. One big tip though if rear discs are removed make sure parking brake shoes are cleaned. Mine had disintegrated with lots of dust present

No brakes required - phew. Only engine and transmission software updates, feels really smooth now
