Is this a good buy??

Hi guys,

Would it be cheeky to ask your opinion of this please?

Dealer says that it has a full main dealer history and has changed:

Lower arms, compressor, EGR valves, discs, pads, cam belts, fuel belt

High mileage, what else could go wrong at this mileage?

I ran it through the mot checker

https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/

the advert states the MOT isn't due till Nov 2018 but the checker states Aug 2018.
not much on the checker but the one thing that jumped off the page for me was the mileage covered between a few of the MOT's, not that that necessarily is a bad thing

So it looks like it's been bashing the motorways to the tune of 30k a year until fairly recently?

One thing is to find out if it has the strengthend oil pump and has the transmission been flushed. The former can only be viewed by removing engine covers. It doesn't say if any warranty given may be worth a test drive see how it feels. If you can see if any active faults you'll need diagnostic tool. I was told to drive as many as possible to get the feeling of what they drive like.

The price doesn't seem to bad ask about warranty. Up and down motor way better than posts of short journeys not getting up to temperature. Thumbs Up
