Good Day Turns Bad!!

Had a good start to the day when a FFRR decided to strut his stuff this morning on the way to work. Ruby soon showed that the BAS tune is worth every penny as we outdragged it down the A48. I know it's boys and their toys but I drive repectfully 99% of the time in regards of speed limits, but a FFRR or RRS is fair game for clearing the muck out of the D3's systems!! Mr. Green

Unfortunately 10 minutes later when travelling through a narrow lane carefully as always, a white van at high speed forces me into the hedge and I end up with the mirror glass hanging by it's wires and cracked as well!! Twisted Evil

It is in for the dreaded squeaking to be fixed on Friday, so I will have to pay for a new mirror glass, I hope it is just that part that can be replaced. Considering the cost of a D3, electric folding mirrors should be standard fit on all models! Question

Mirror glass replacement takes about 90 seconds. The glass comes on a backing plate with a mounting ring on it. Provided the circular "receiver" on the housing is undamaged you'll be fine. Thumbs Up
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
