Good News from Land Rover
I have received a letter from the stealer where I got my D4 2010MY stating that "... Land rover have asked me to contact you regarding some good news about your existing vehicle ..." it then goes on to quote my registration number and that I should call them.
Has anyone else had this and what does it mean? Is it likely to be good news or just a come-on?
I wonder whether it is some fix for my current motor or they want me to shell out for a new one with some half-@ssed discount.

ISTR getting a similar letter when my D3 was a similar age. Tempting trade-in offers on a new one IFIRC. Hope you have better luck than I did with SWMBO

I was planning on keeping my motor and extending the warranty given that I have had some minor mods done (hidden winch, sump plate, wax oil) and that it has hardly put a foot wrong (except the blue smoke). But I will go and see what they have to say at Puntland.
What would you say would be a good deal against a new D4 HSE for my 2010MY 3.0 TDV6 HSE; about 40,000 miles VGC, one careful owner ?2016 D4 Landmark SDV6 (Euro6), Zanzibar (late run D4)

Good News
Will most probably be they "have a number of cars to do for their target and they have a certain amount of units they can do a a knockout price".
Dealerships now have external companies going round offering to market them and the "good news" or "call me" events are a favourite. If you are thinking of a change it maybe worth a look but actually make sure your are getting a better than normal deal - most of the time it is just a ruse to get folk through the door!
Again they may dress it up a aditional support from Land Rover it may be but beware and really force thier hand for a deal!! D4 HSE Luxury
