| Good paint shop in Glasgow or central belt? |

As we were coming down the M6 yesterday a lump of something came flying over the central reservation and took a lump of paint off my drivers door. 
Anyone got a recommendation for a good, reasonably priced paint shop around Glasgow or central belt somewhere Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Dave,
I would recommend Dentec in Rutherglen. They've done some great work (mostly under rust warranty so I can't really comment on pricing) on my Mercedes - nothing yet on the D4 thankfully ! The quality of their work is top notch.

Went around a few places today for quotes, chips away were my starting point, they have a shop and seemed like a reasonable place, wanted £360 to do both doors on one side (to blend the colours together, this was what all said) and the bonnet as I have a nasty chip on the front edge where it is starting to lift.
I then tried Mitchell ingles in south street, where the dealers send you! Really didn't like the guy, seemed to secretive didn't inspire confidence at all, nothing in particular, just didn't get a good feeling, he wouldn't even give me a ball park sort of figure, which he should have had a feeling for, after all it is two doors and a bonnet, nothing difficult.
I then went to dentec and got a lot better feeling from the guy there, gave me a price there and then, £600. So yes more than chips away but a couple of hundred quid on a £45k car, I get the feeling that they will do a better job. Booked in for next week. Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Well that's my car just been delivered back from the paint shop. Used Dentec as recommended above, looks like a good job, its raining at present though so close inspection some other time. Not too horrific a price, £600 for two doors and the bonnet, just hope nobody comes near it now. Joined the BMWX5 45e group
