Probably seems a really daft question but what is the tread depth on a new Wrangler HP tyre?

Cheers

Probably another daft question but I'll ask anyway..........

Our D3 has a pair of Wranglers on the rear, having just measured them they have 6mm of tread left, the front pair were fitted before I got the car and are a cheapo pair of Nexen Roadian tyres they are at 7mm. I have aquired a new pair of Wranglers at a good price and plan to get them fitted. I assume the 3mm difference between old and new tyres will not be a problem? And where would you advise to fit the new tyres front or rear?

Lots of folks on here running with bigger differences without any problems. If it was me I'd not think twice about it. Thumbs Up

PS I've no idea whether best to have new ones at the front or back but ISTR a tyre fitter said best tread at the rear, don't know if true or not.
