Got it!

After trawling through this forum gathering important intelligence & taking in the advice of some of you guys who bothered to answer my posts I finally taken delivery of MY57 Discovery 3 SE Stornaway Grey with 6.5K on the clock yesterday.

It is stock SE which I had the dealer put on privacy glass. All in at just over 21K. The dealer was ok but not great. Upon checking over the car one of the wheels was fitted with a Wrangler while the other three were Scorpions Shocked . Very shoddy valeting of the car & something I missed yesterday is that one of the two centre console cupholder inserts is missing. no big deal only cost 3 quid @ my local LR dealer.

When the weather cheers up a bit I'll give the ride a good clean I'll post some pics. 200 miles down the M1 on salt contaminated tarmac has left it looking a bit sad.

Just have to say that compared to the 200 miles going up north it was altogether more serene & relaxing. It's a great motorway cruiser but it does need more oomph which the little Tunit box that was fitted in my Hyundai should provide after it comes back from Tunit after re-programming & a new connecting harness. I know many of you don't rate the tuning boxes but I'll soon find out if its any good & it'll only cost me 89 notes for the re program.

And £21k for a 57 is cracking compared with prices this time last year Big Cry I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
