Done 9 k miles on my AT2's and they have been great. Good grip and lasting well. Thumbs Up

Tim,

Many thanks for your business, was nice to meet you today. Very Happy

Pleased you are happy with the General AT2's, I think you will find these to be (IMHO) the best all-round tyre available at present to suit the D3 on 18" wheels. Thumbs Up

Happy motoring Thumbs Up

May be for some, but IMHO the Pirelli ATR is not much better than the Scorpion.

My choice would still be the AT2 over the Pirelli ATR, we run them on our own cars. Thumbs Up

I had the bush settling/alignment/uneven tyre wear issue and replaced the Wranglers with AT2's. I have been very happy, but at 5000km there is a wear pattern on the outside of the front tyres that is not smooth or flat but is angled on each tread lug. Is this normal?

Hi Andrew,
No, this is not normal. It is scrubbing due to poor alignment.

Did you get the 4-wheel alignment done when you fitted the new tyres?

You would also get this if you drive hard in corners and roundabouts, mind you I mean hard.

Hi Bushwanderer.

Yes, I had the alignment done in geometric mode at the same time that I put 4 new Grabbers on. I must say though, I don't percieve any pull to the left or right. Can I have the alignment checked without being in geometric mode?

Took the D3 back to the dealers and got a geometric mode setup and alignment. Rotated the AT2's too. All sorted and no charge! Thumbs Up

I had AT2s on my old D3 (255/55 18) they were as good on road as the wranglers and after 30K miles on them showed little wear.

I'll be looking for some for the D3 when I next need some rubber.
