Did a quick Google, but not a lot of luck.
Does anyone know a website that lists accessible greenlanes/byways, preferably by county or region?
I'm in south Bucks, but used to hit the byways in Surrey a few years back in my old Suzuki Vitara. Trouble with most of them was the narrowness. Not an issue for the car - more an issue for the paintwork, which I now want to keep looking good once the D3 arrives.

Try the following website :
http://www.offroadroutes.net/Pages/map_routes.asp
However they only cover parts of the UK. The best thing to do is ring the local landrover club in the area you wish to visit and ask for the number of their rights of way officer. Many clubs will be quite cagey about disclosing where the green lanes are as the last thing they want is 100's of insensitive and ill equipped users on the lanes and thereby increasing the risk of them being closed. Reassure them on that point and you might be ok.
If you are planning on a trip to the Northumberland, Durham or Cumbria areas PM me and I can point out lanes of all shapes and sizes in that area. Disco 4 TDV6HSE
