I got a GVIF unit.

The reversing camera works ok which is good and why I want it.

I notice it only stays in reverse mode if there is a picture, which is fine.

My problem is that the button does nothing ???

I tried plugging the camera into Av1/2 and a DVD player but the button don't work.
The switch itself is fine.

Also I have an orange wire spare. Called I drive.

I haven't connected the can bus up.

I think they are correct. Av3 off.

But I guess I need to swap them to see if it helps

No dont use the can wire it causes problems on the car. Did you not get a remote with it so you can go in the menu setup? If the dip switches are set wrong then it wont switch the screens.

Flack Thumbs Up

Wonder if it thinks the car is moving so won't display anything ?

Or don't these care about that ??

The reverse camera should only work whe reverse is selected with the ignition switched on, it takes priority over all other inputs, you should not be able to have a blank screen when reverse is selected. Power is taken from the reverse +positive cable to the camera. Any changes to the dip switches must be made while the car is sleeping i.e. Parking light on, any changes will not take effect until the car has gone to sleep.
You can only scroll forwards when changing AV inputs with the button switch.

Have you got the receiver "eye" plugged in correctly and pointing the remote (fitted with new batteries) at it

Turns out this Rev.2 version from Sune, does require connection to the CAN.
Thankfully it's a private CAN just between the nav and display.

So now when I press the Nav hard key I can select between AV1,2,3,nav

They disabled the Mode button on these Rolling Eyes because they added the CAN facility.

I got the remote working, but still can't move the F-ing reversing lines Mad
