"H" Trim Removal Help Please

I want to remove the H trim either side of the CD player. It's all in one bit including the two vents.

Can anyone tell me where the clips are located and how much force do need to get it off.

Cheers.

Put a hand down each side to towards the base of the H and pull hard from the back ...the rest will follow fairly easily Thumbs Up

Thats it!!!!!!!!! put thumbs on the iner part near ash tray/power point, fingers outside gripping edge, pull with even pressure, not a swift pull. The bottom clips come out ok, the work your way up. Theres two more clips level with hazard switch level, once out lever bottom of h trim towards rear view mirror, this is because the top of the h trim is hooked under dash above each vent.

Thumbs Up

PM nick, aka "THE LARGE ONE", it aint as simple as pull off old, replace new as the top switch panel has to be replaced too. He needs to know the switch configeration/colour etc. It aint an expensive mod, and very easy to do.

Have a little look in my Gallery to see how its done, the difference in Switches then give Nick a PM/Call.

1 extra thing, and Bodsey spotted it 1st, there is a clip ether side on the NEW trim, and not on the old, needs needs to have a recess cut behind the dash (all hidden when done) to allow flush fit.

Thumbs Up

This is becoming a popular Mod, and ALL dealers are stinging you for it except Nick, he knows all about it and been discussed many times on this Forum. He may even have it in stock
