Yep definately becoming more of a thing over here now, and getting more commercial. i walked down the halloween isle yesterday and it is full of cheap nasty plastic stuff that is over priced. My wife is prepared for trick or treater though, she gives the kids fruit! That way she won't get anything nasty done, but they don't get anything they really want!D3 HSE MY05 Auto

We will get quite a few of the little tonight.
Although at the moment the door ain't been knocked once yet.
We have a big dish full of mini mars bars, milky ways and other choc treats. We don't have kids of our own so we don't mind treating a few of the younger children that make an effort to dress up.
Got to say though that if I had kids I wouldn't let them go trick or treating, I would have a haloween party instead.I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

No little darlings yet but SWMBO has box of "Heros" ready. Hounds barking tends to scare them off so I look forward to "their" treats later tonight!!! I love it when a plan comes together

Lights off, doors closed.
When I was a child living on a USAF base in Norfolk the adults used to really go to town with it, dressed in costumes, whole houses decorated as dungeons, coffins on the front lawns, bobbing for apples the whole lot!
not like it is now, sticking a hoody and a 99p mask on and begging for sweets or money.

The big 4 supermarkets now make more money at Halloween than easter - speaks volumes....
My 2 have just come back in
Also have a big bowl of sweets to give out - just made a toddler s**t himself as I jumped out of dark doorway wearing a mask

I reckon a nice faked immigration officer ID flashed in their direction ought to do it I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
