hardwire dash cam

I need some advise from more electrically minded please .

Trying to hard wire new dshcam to my bus but from what I can see i got limited fuse choises.

What about fuse 36 which is describeds as battery backup sounder.

what fuse would you peeps suggesting to go for considering 5 AMPs ones.

also there are not so many ground point to use and I was thinking of the outlined bolt which seems to be attaching to dash structure:

It depends if you want permanent live or switched (ignition) live?

Regarding the earth point, yes that's the one to use. Thumbs Up

I think I used 53, cigarette lighter? There are better earths on the left 'A' pillar behind the plastic work.

Use a mini fuse piggy back connector with a lower rated fuse Wink

I think I used a 3 amp fuse max for the dash cam Thumbs Up

... dashcam works fine but i have one annoying thing I can figure out

when car is opened and wakes up dashcam boots up and starts opertating but when motor is turned on dashcam reboots

any ide what fuse is only making circuit alive when motor is switches on ?

just checked my d3 and d4 both are piggybacked in fuse F19 behind the glove box both work as they should Thumbs Up

tried F18 which is rear wiper blade but seems to be perm live as camera would not switch off

will try 19 and 20 tomorrow
