OK could she send me some material - I only need a piece to extend the Liner and some edging. I can make the Mod myself, it doesnt need to be much, all I will do is line the backs of the seats and split the existing liner. to allow me to drop the centre seat.

Not quite sure what is the rear plus, but mine lays flat on the floor, and has velcro either side where the bottom of the seat meets the back of the boot at the bottom dog guard mount.
I'm more than happy with mine and will be keeping it, no need to send it back. The instruction makes no mention of a dog guard fitment, but  not really bovvered.

Duncan you may have made direct contact by now but for the benefit of others , heres the reply to the question posed above :
