Why I hate football.

As we remember the 75th anniversary of D-Day and the heroism and sacrifice by the men and women that served and liberated Europe from oppression and tyranny, English football fans are fighting and rampaging through Porto. Scum. Twisted Evil

there is nothing wrong with football ... these types of scrotes would cause trouble somewhere else if they didn't have football as an excuse.

Agree Moo ... they are total scum !!
That's part of the reason I don't watch or follow football.
The other reason is the lack of sportsmanship with many players and managers.

I follow Rugby Union, a more aggressive game but played with respect from players, managers & fans.
Hell, at Rugby you can even buy & drink a pint of beer in the grounds seated beside rival fans, that just couldn't happen in UK football!

Here's how it used to be:-
Rugby - a game for hooligans, played by gentlemen.
Football - a game for gentlemen, played by hooligans.

But, as far as I'm concerned:-
Rugby - a game for gentlemen, played by gentlemen.
Football - a game for hooligans, played by hooligans.

Absolutely - I’m a season ticket holder at OT, the 2 minute silence every year at the nearest home game to Armistice Day is always immaculately observed - as it is in virtually all grounds.

These w*nkers have nothing to do with the game
