Just got my D3 back after turbo replacement and it shows HDC fault on start up.
Battery is only 16 months old.
Any ideas what to look for? 05 TDV6 HSE AUTO 7seats, tonga green/alpaca, alpine roof, privacy glass, tow kit, wood kit, 20" stormers n summer, 18" in winter, fancy exhausts, rear seat ent., club fooked turbo!

If it's only at startup, i think it nearly always seems to be low voltage/battery issue. Either wrong type battery with too low CCA-value, or battery is just on its way out. Mine was replaced about year ago with energie-battery and had to replace it again month ago. Now i replaced it with Varta agm-battery which i hope will last longer, at least haven't had a once any fault message at startup, even it's been
-15 - -25 all the time since then and been driving mostly short 20km trips with pre-heating twice a day.

I was getting all kinds of error messages including HDC etc etc and it was all due to low battery. Even the FBH would not fire but all sorted with battery
