The Maltings sell them and will deliver to Australia (not sure on the postage) but I bet it's cheaper that LR Australia.

after 8 months I have figured it out !!

Low fuel rail pressure and Gearbox Fault!

Turns out the Landy is to smart for its own good, if you read in my earlier posts you will see I was getting high Temp readings on the fuel temp sensor inside the High Pressure Pump.

so the AC condenser and radiator was blocked with bugs, grass, birds feathers and road mug. which was in turn making the car run hotter than normal, upto 120 degrees when towing the 3.5ton boat.

so once I cleaned the radiator and condenser out and the car was back to getting good airflow through the front grill my temps dropped back to between 88 and 92 degrees celsius in turn the fuel temperature dropped drastically. when the fuel gets to hot the HPFP Automatically drops the fuel rail pressure, Causing the limp mode and codes.

so if someone is getting the same codes, I suggest another thing to do is monitor your engine coolant temp and fuel temp via OBD2 and see if when the readings are High is when your car goes into limp mode.

I am not saying this will always be the case as it looks like its more common to be the LPFP and the HPFP however its pretty easy to remove the front grill and clean out the condenser and radiator with some soap and AIR hose. Note most of the build up was between the two units blocking the airflow getting to the radiator.

before someone has a go at my about the fuel temps, note I know the diesel cooler is mounted under the chassis and not by the radiator however the HPFP is attached the the engine and the engine was getting hot. transferring the heat via the engine block not via the cooler.

I thought I had best post my findings as I know a lot of people once the find the problem ignore the forms and posts !
