HDC fault every 20 miles?

Hi,

Disco 3 TDV6 here,

I have a fault which strangely only appears after about 20 miles, Normal everyday local driving is ok but when I go further faults appear after 20 miles.

Switching off and back on resets it for another 20 miles! (every time)

I get the HDC fault, systems unavailable and suspension lowers, 3 warning lights.

Anyone have any ideas why this only happens after 20 miles??

Thanks,

Ken

I had the very same fault. I went and had my suspension calibration checked and reset and a four wheel alignment and haven't had the issue since.

Not hugely dissimilar to a recent problem I had.
Solved by Disco Mike resetting the steering sensor.

Yup, been there... Abs sensor was on the way out, didn't flag which wheel until it "needed" replacement.

Mine was due to a faulty speed sensor.
read the live values via my IID and found it to be the rear offside one.
Replaced and all good.

Mine was due to steering angle sensor not being recalibrated after a 4 wheel alignment.
