Head Unit upgrade options

I've just my hands on a 2006 Disco 3 S. I do a lot of listening to audio books and am wondering whats the best option to get this audio working.

I don't mind upgrading the head unit as I'm thinking of installing a reverse camera also.

A simple wiring options with connectors would be great.

Any advice or help would be great [/b]

I was reading before I posted. Thus why I posted but it's OK I'll go elsewhere.

Get the connects2 harness with fascia and then an android head unit, you can tether to your phone for internet access and run any android audio book app you like.

Do you have a 6 disc unit at the front dash?
Do you have an amp under the drivers seat?

If the answer is no to both those it’s good news. It’s easy and cheap to install aftermarket.

Cave you checked under the flap on the rear of the centre console - near the rear vents and cup holders?

Its easy to miss but normally is next to the power socket under there
 Must stop buying shiny toys....

Surprised a base model has the top line stereo, someone ticked that box when ordering.
