15 mils thick!!... think they mean 15 micron's.... in which case.....I have some 25 micron cling film for the same price Wink offers on a postcard.... Laughing Laughing

I think you'll find that 12 mils is about 300 microns - in american speak - can I suggest you either buy a long roll of cling film or at least read the whole article before writing it off !! Never heard of mils - assumed it was an abbreviation of millimetres Whistle bit of googling soon put me right though Smile
mils x 0.0254= mm

mm x 39.4= mils

microns x 0.0394= mils

mils x 25.4= microns

mm x 1,000= microns

mils x 0.001= inches

so it's 381 microns thick then
Didn't 'write it off', just couldnt make sense of the thickness.... now I can Wink

Ahhhh - peace and understanding - suffice to say its supposed to be fairly tough stuff - can protect against 1 inch stone at 120 mph apparently (doesn't mention bullets though !!) - not aware of any UK equiv. as yet. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
