BN - does the red circle indicate the lever for changing the xenons for euro driving?

I bought a brand new pair of halogens on ebay with a view of fitting them to a discovery series 1 (I am nuts like that) but I didnt realise just how big they are and its nearly impossible without serious modding to the front panel.

They are absolutely gigantic !

BN I have wondered just how easy it is to remove the grill and lights? If the lights are taken out am I right in assuming that self levelling is done by the car and so I don't have to worry about beam height/levelling at all?
Thanks

PS hope the "h" 's work this time!

The grill comes out dead easy.
4 clips along the top of the grill and 2 lower down.
Lights come out easy lift up tabs on either side of the lamps.
Levelling is automatic on air suspension cars

Just make sure you have somewhere safe and soft to put the grill and lamps when they are out.
The instructions are also in the manual under changing bulbs

I'm driving to Belgium later this month. How tricky is it to switch the lamps for driving on the wrong side of the road??

I'm looking at the pictures on this post and thinking it might be simpler to apply the little black stickers which you can buy at the port Question

Dead easy to do, did mine on the eurotunnel train with time to spare Wink
don't think the masks will work on the xenons... although the Dealers can supply you with a positioning template

Is there a lever on both left and right lamp units or just one? Also does moving the lever shift the beam to illuminate the nearside kerb etc or does it simply mask a bit of it to stop you dazzling oncoming drivers?

one lever per unit and it shifts the beam to the 'correct' pattern for the country being driven in
*note that there are no markings to indicate which is RHD or LHD and the lever returns to centre after operation*
