Depends how much wiring you have in place - i tried it, but part of the loom is not connected under the fuse box in the engine compartment so I gave up. Some have managed it though - depends on your particular vehicle.

Cmon guys, its 12V right, surely a switch, relay and some suitable wiring will kick it into life - extra refinement if you can get a timer relay!!
 Cheers

Yes, that's possible, but each half of the screen draws 27.5 Amps, so it needs a decent relay and cabling, but possible all the same. I just gave up when I found the link somewhere between the relay and screen connections was not present.

RM , check the fusebox in the engine bay and look at the legend .I think theres a fuse missing that might need to be present. You have the same model as me.I only noticed this briefly and didnt get to check it out fully.

All the fuses were in place. The supply to the coil of the relay was missing, so I was happy to add that as a new cable run, but then I checked the continuity between the relay and the wires at the side of the screen and it was open circuit Sad No way of telling where it's disconnected as the loom disappears into the vehicle, and i didn't fancy running 2 30 amp supplies through the bulkhead, so gave up and had a beer instead Very Happy
