As per other thread, I have a problem with heated seats.
I have chatted (via mail) with GAP who are very helpful, and responded with the following.
I reckon I have leather electric seats with no heating.....
Anyway, anyone know where the heated seat ECU lives, so I can see if there is one?
"B1030-87 Left Front Seat Heater - Missing message
Left front seat heater LIN circuit short to ground, short to power, open circuit
Left front heated seat module failure
Climate Control Module failure
Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check left front seat heater LIN circuit for short to ground, short to power, open circuit. Check and install a new left front heated seat module as required. Check and install a new Climate Control Module as required. Refer to the warranty policy and procedures manual if a module is suspect
Both heated seat ECUs are not communicating with the car. Inspect wiring first, if the ECUs are connected of course... ""

Well the D3 doesn't have a FRONT heated seat ecu (only rear). Not sure on D4. But they are different.
Why don't you find a D4 catalog, and have a look at the specs to see if all electric ones are heated.

It’s not usual for a GS to have heated seats, if you don’t have electric memory seats I doubt you have heated seats.
Four torque screws fasten the seat base down accessed from underneath, take the base out and see if the wires are there for the heater elements , base has one element back has another element. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I’m assuming Phil is retro-fitting these and that should be no problem as I’ve fitted heated electric leather seats to my GS. Worked no problem at all.
Phil, what does you connection block from the seat look like e.g. number and colour of cables would be good, pictures better and then we can check electrics / diagrams
