I'm not sure how useful this is as I don't have a heated screen in my D3. However, in my '93 D1 the elements have slightly failed over time (no stone chip relationship). Maybe should be seen as "wear & tear".

Hi Norto,
Is it the one with subject "'van" dated 6 Nov? If so, I had read it.

If you have sent one since then, it's not in my Inbox. Perhaps if you resend.

Best Wishes,
Pete

success... dealer fitting new windscreen today. Asked them to clarify it with Land Rover and they are now fitting a new screen. Guess that LR said get on with it.

Excellent (as long as they don't mess it up) Very Happy

to be honest as long as you can take a picture of the screen not clearing yourself or leaving overnight for a dealer to check for themselves and dealer can see that any chips are not in the area of the element failure then theres no reason why they cannot replace.
You want to see the state of the windscreens after they have been removed...no one would know whether there was a chip anywhere anyway Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
