Heating - warm not hot?

Recently changed from MY10 to MY 16 and not sure heating is working correctly. With dial at 26 and above it is warm, but by no means hot. The old car had car toasty at 22 and then needed turning down.c

All the vents work ie it blows feet, face, screen as required. Coolant level also ok.

Any suggestions before a dealer visit?

TIA

England

Take it off Auto and control the heating manually.

Bedtime reading.

Thank you

So ploughing though that, appears there are two issues. The temp difference and the HVAC one. Having just tried temp gauge against an i10 on drive they are both the same. So working on basis that just need to get dealer to apply foam as outlined in LTB00963, I checked and we are in the affected VIN range.

Will try it on manual for now

Went for a little drive earlier, with Auto turned off, dials at 22 and vents on face. It was scorchio!

So it getting the mod done worth it, given there is workaround.

I'm inclined to make dealer aware but get it done as part of next service.

I recall reading on here that those who have had the mod done felt it was no better?

Ok - so longer drive into work this morning - and even on manual after 20-mins it was blowing cool

Dealer visit I fear Evil or Very Mad

So as an update, as suggested, have just been running it on manual with temp "set" to 24, blowers on feet and that seems to keep the car at comfortable temperature.

I have been trying to book the car in to get it looked at, at LR Lancasters in MK - but their Service Department seem uninterested in responding to messages, answering the phone or anything! HAve been trying for 3 days now to get booked in, receptionist has said someone will call you back multiple times.

Only reasoning for going there, part of the group we purchased car from. However now thinking of going somewhere else! Any recommendations for LR support around South Northants, Bucks?

You might find if you have mentioned what your call is about they are deflecting you as they know it is a hopeless cause!
