On my house I just have an MK outside socket, and a 13A switched spur inside (good to isolate if water gets in or stopping neighbors using your leccy)
The white fuse adaptor is belt a braces should a fault happen while you are testing, which is unlikely.
It sounds to me as if you haven't set your volt meter to a low enough range. 200mV I think is required.
They can't all be reading zero.
Test/practice on the 20A suspension one.
thought that about putting a socket outside , just thought it easier i can then hide the ctek in doors , ie if i go out with the dogs
didn’t realise at first the ctek short lead i’ve connected to the battery has small lights on it
the zero readings are when i set the meter to ac, for the alternator test
i will recheck the meter ref it’s settings, i did use my other multimeter to double check every small fuses and after the time out everyone showed zero , just in case i need to double check them to ensure they making contact with the meter probes 100% on the small fuses
these are the meters i’m using

Have another play on the small fuses, as I don't think you are doing it correctly.
All the info is from RObbies guide.
I wouldn't worry about the relays, its usually obvious if they are stuck closed, and would cause much more than the drain you have
it certainly wouldn’t hurt that’s for sure to recheck each and every small fuse
maybe before reconnecting the battery again , i could do a continuity test before hand on ever fuse , that way knowing there all working and not blown , as if one did happen to be blown and i didn't release , surely it wouldn’t test 100% when i tried to test for voltage
ur right hi king about it ref the relay and assume something wouldn’t turn off, ie readings threads where compressors done turn off, etc

I wouldn't bother continuity checking the fuses

, will indeed double check them
for the alternator is was AC , amps , wasn’t it to test for any feed back
that’s what i mainly got stuck on, which setting for which test , but is making so much more sense since ur great answers
thks for this , also got a spare pad somewhere , so i can write down findings and then report back to u accurately

gstuart, if you proceed with the rear of vehicle battery charger print out this graphic to place on the dash/steering wheel/front seat so that you don't accidentally drive off. I got the design from another forum member but couldn't find it now so did one up for you...

The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

bless u for that , do intend to set the towing socket up to accept the charging facility and that will indeed come in very handy to put on my steering wheel
looks like i will have to buy the 12n and the 12s , already have the 12n but just need the 12s
thks again

NO POINT SPENDING an arm and a leg on genuine wiring, just for the sake of a charger.
All you need is the socket off ebay and some twin cable
