HELP!! 2009 d3 tdv6 multiple faults
Hi all
My 2009 d3 tdv6 has thrown a major wobbly. I have the following faults
Limited gears
Hdc fault
Suspension not working
Special programme faults
Park brake fault and several lights on dash
I have read codes using sdd and it has the following
All u codes and says lost communication with various modules. Except one about the tcm that says something about a node?
I have 2 p codes
One is system pressure in hvac and the other is turbo boost sensor I think
Maybe a coincidence but it all happened after I worked around the front passenger corner trying to fix my washer jets. Had to remove headlight and pull front bumper back a bit to get in. Also I cleaned the map sensor with maf cleaner spray. Other than that nothings been touched
Things I've checked so far
Tried another battery
Brake lights all working
Tried a hard reset
Tried.clearing codes via sdd but it won't
Checked the tcm module by battery and all looks fine, even inside the box
Can anyone point me in the best places/direction to look please. Or is anyone close to Bromsgrove who can come and diagnose the problem

Can you post all the fault codes logged from all modules? Also, did you disturb this connector behind the P/S headlamp? Check it's fully closed!

That's the bottom one, invalid data from ecm/pcm and says vdm ecu. The other one was system pressure in hvac but it's not come back up

Is P0237-16 there all the time? If it is you'll need to start with that one. Check the connection/wiring to the MAP sensor and the hoses to and from the intercooler, but may need a new MAP sensor.
Get that one sorted and then see what codes come back.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Yes it is. I've checked wiring and all looks OK. I'll try a new sensor and go from there. Could a faulty sensor cause all those faults. Thanks. Glen

Check thoroughly the hoses too, but it does look like an electrical fault with the sensor or it's wiring. It may not cause all the faults but certainly some of them.
It would be good practice to go back over everything you did if the problems weren't there previously!yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

I did poke the end of the straw down the map sensor quite a lot so I presume I've damaged it. I've checked everything else I've done and can't see anything that I've damaged. I'll try a new sensor and go from there. Thanks for the help

The "U" codes are comms faults normally brought about by one or more component faults. As a result it usually means the control modules are no longer able to communicate with each other effectively.
(Ghost faults)
So solve the "P" code with a new sensor and see what comes back.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
