Help in setting up headphones for DVD player.
Please would someone be able to help?
I've got the right headphones, complete with fresh batteries but, when I press the "on" button on the headphones, the LED simply pulses and there's no sound from the headphones, despite twiddling the volume control. I can't find anything in the user manual.
Please can anyone let me know if there's something I'm missing here?

Is it the drop down screen type?
If so its made by Rosen and google may help.
If you get stuck pm me and I can photocopy instruction manual and post it to you

I'm not sure what the "drop down type" might be, but these screens are built into the rear head restraints.

If it's using the built in RSE system and the headphones are WhiteFire, have you selected a source for the RSE and have you checked which channel the headphones are switched to - there are 2 channels available.D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

I think I understand that and yes, we are talking about the same system. I'll check what you've said against what's in the car....

Unfortunately, I've had to draw a blank here. Suspect the headphones might be duff

I've found the two other headphones in the car. Got one pair to work briefly with the TV, but not with the DVD. I know pretty much understand how the controls work, but nothing I do will make it work. Oh well, think I shall put it in the same category as the surround cameras; at least I've found out before I've paid for either!
Unfortunately, when I get back to the dealer on Tuesday, I shall be handing it back. We'll just revert to the £99 job from Halfords. It's a bigger screen, she can control it all independently from the back, it doesn't tie up our CD player, the headphones are much nicer to wear and it works!
