Help overheating

2005 tdv6 started to use a little water the other week so I did some digging and found the water pump was leaking. I have now replaced this with a genuine Land Rover item topped the coolant back up and took it for a test drive and all seemed good. Ran round all day yesterday and same today when a loss of power followed immediately by a rising temperature. Pulled over turned car off and on temperature was back in the middle. Plugged Hawkeye in and it was reading 106c. Drove for 2 mins same thing again heaters have gone cold but not lost any coolant. The loss of power came up as egr valves so I have just blanked them off and on trying to bleed the system I’m getting a hot rad and top hose but everything else around the thermostat is cold as are the heaters

I was thinking maybe it’s the egr cooler?

Anyone shed any light on this
