Help please - Is your VIN above 520586?

Can I ask any D4 owners who have collected their car in the last week to let me know (either in post or via PM) if their VIN is after 520586 please. This is the top of the range that is subject to the recent centre propshaft inspection notice and cars delivered in the last week should hopefully be higher than this. I don't need/want to know your actual VIN - only if it is higher than 520586. I would like to know as the VIN I have been quoted for my car is below this and the car is apparently not due for factory release for a few days yet. Confused

FYI I collected my D4 last Weds, (14th Oct), which had just been delivered from the factory. I was told it had 'just been built' Confused
and my VIN starts 518...

There is plenty of evidence around the car to show when it was actually in the assembly line. Take a look at the air suspension units or the headlamps. Labels will show dates which relate to the assembly process.

A 518xxx VIN would have been a September built vehicle, I guess.

Our VIN is 516xxx and just had the car for less than 2 weeks. They must be knocking these D4's out pretty quick .... Disco 4 TDV6HSE

Try the sticker trick...I think you will find that your car must have been sitting around somewhere for a while....

Thanks for the responses - I am more Confused than ever now Big Cry However it does look like my VIN 520XXX is in line with the ones posted here even if they all fall into the propshaft mount check notice range.
It doesn't seem to make sense for L/R to have them sitting around for long after they are built especially as I am sure the dealers would like the money asap Wink

I don't suppose there was a typo on the "notice" range - 510xxx instead of 520xxx?

I guess it really doesn't matter too much, it just seems a bit odd. Oh! and it means that I still have 9 days to wait until I get mine Sad

My VIN starts 517xxx and was delivered on 6th October. I was told that it had just come off the line, although I have checked the headlight stickers today and they are 31 August and 29 August.

Where can I find out more about the propshaft check - this is the first I have heard about it? 2016 D4 Landmark - Waitomo/Ebony
2012 D4 HSE - Orkney/Almond - gone
2009 D4 XS - Buckingham/Ebony - gone
