Hi all, I'm seeing a drop in consumption from 25/26 down to 20/21mpg. I plugged in the BAS box to read the codes and it's listing
P2299
U0138
U0151
U0121
U0101
U0461
anyone know what these mean ?
cheers

I just did a search on here for +p2299 and it seems to be suggesting turbo or EGR.
might be worth running the others through the site search function I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

that website is great, but very scary - it would seem all sorts of modules are not speaking to each other, but not getting any alarms or warnings on the dash so maybe they are just sulking. It may be that one is the cause and the rest are symptoms. I will keep an eye on it and plan a trip to the dealer!
thanks agan guys

Might be worth checking the battery is OK....low voltage or a knackered battery can cause cascade faults I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

If you definitely don't notice anything strange and you're not getting any physical symptoms/warnings then I'd just forget about these codes (and probably delete them too).
ISTR it's quite normal to get communication errors between ECUs and other bits and bobs now and again, even though CAN has collision detection I believe the messages can still get jumbled now and again.
As SJR says, it's worth checking the battery, one single comms fault or spurious error could flag up several others but TBH I wouldn't get too stressed about things 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

As said already those faults could be just communications faults if a particular module powers up or down before another.
If its any consolation ive just changed my battery on my RRS today to help with simlar faults.
The old battery started the car no problems every day but was weak on cranking Amps, the Odesey pc1700 batterys are a perfect soloution for the D3 and RRS but are very expencive.
