High beam assist
Hi, I want to retro fit a high beam assist rear mirror, I have found a couple used for sale but do I need a cover or does it fit with existing one as they are advertised like this and I can't seem to find a cover.
2015MY discovery 4 se tech with factory black pack.
With added
Rse, tv, electric memory seats, rear camera, heated steering wheel,
Headlight dip assist, remote FBH, led door light pack,easy lift kit,osram front fog/drl/active cornering lights. and whatever els I can find to do,

I’d be interested in this mod too. We had it in our last car and she moaned that it didn’t come with this one. Is it an easy retrofit mod?

Hi, yes I'm led to believe it's just a case of changing mirrors and enabling it in ccf with iid tool or suitable diagnostic equipment, but I can't find any with full covers.2015MY discovery 4 se tech with factory black pack.

Hi mjom89, yes fitted mine, works great most off the time, sometimes i need to overide, but in general I like it, easy cheap mod,
Bought the mirror used and bought the cover online as non assist cover doesn’t fit.2015MY discovery 4 se tech with factory black pack.

Sounds good - I think I will give it a go as Dad has it on his Disco so I feel like I am missing out!
Do you know what part number I need? It looks like there are a few available...

I’m 99% sure that all 2010/.2016 fit I bought one quite a while ago don’t no what year it was and it works pretty good but as said on here it’s not 100% so I bought another one recently from a 2010 and tried that and was pretty much the same, not 100% consistent but works pretty good, it’s a case of not if you need to overide but be ready for when you need to overide
It does also need the ccf setting enabled & the rear view mirror needs to have the camera on of course. 2015MY discovery 4 se tech with factory black pack.

Thanks Gilly - I will see if I can get my hands on one. I see it as more of a driver aid than something that should be relied on so I expect to have to step in some times and switch them on or off myself.
You don't happen to have the replacement one laying around do you?!

I got mine from Britcar if I remember correct they were the one that had stock ready to go but think even dealer are not too expensive. (I might be wrong. )2015MY discovery 4 se tech with factory black pack.
