And im back Laughing

Well, Mrs B booked the hotel, it was quite basic, clean and well located to get around but we weren't in it for very long, quite happy with it for the €90/night.

We did think about staying in The Danielli, but at €500-€5,800 per night, didn't quite think we'd stretch to it on this occasion! (those prices do include breakfast though..... )

Dcm, We thought it was going to rain all the time we were there, so was pleasantly suprprised when it was clearish and on and off sunny. We just thought all the boards and legs were stacked up so they could be spread out for people to sit down. Didn't realise they used them as walkways when it floods!!

Trick to coffee shops is to drink at the bar, if you sit down, you pay extra.
2x coffees and 2 x croissants were €4.80

Swmbo is an excellent researcher for holidays and how to get the best value. Basically it involves not eating in St Marks square!! Mind you, that was soooo busy all the time, we ended up going there at 7.30 in the Morning to get some photos of it without all the people and the tat sellers. Thumbs Up

We found some excellent places off the beaten track and TripAdvisor really is a great way to find some hidden gems at a good price.
