Homelink Mirror Retrofit

Hi all,

I didn't a search but didn't come up with a definitive answer.

I'm looking to fit a Homelink Mirror to my MY12 D4 & am wondering do I need to have the CCF edited to enable it.

Or is it as I would imagine, that the transmitter is a self contained unit within the mirror & all it would need is power to operate ?

Before I take the gamble & go order one, just wondering if anyone's got experience of fitting one Question

I looked at doing this for my G4 a while back but never got around to it. A man who knows far more than me, cheers Geoff Thumbs Up , was of the opinion, it would only need a power feed but I may have remembered that wrong? Drop him a pm and I'm sure he'd put you right,

HTH?

Best,

Not sure what you are thinking of switching?
I looked at this but decided on a transmitter that fits in the ciggy lighter socket for my garage - much more cost effective and looks quite neat
