I did my rear arms 2 weeks ago, and am busy doing the front lowers this weekend. I'll be off to Mark next week sometime to have the alignment done. Thumbs Up

Another happy customer. Great service and price and great suggestion from Geoff

Had a problem with the camber washer and they went to buy them at Land Rover Harwoods, fitted them and solved my issues
It takes all sorts (to make a world).

D3 HSE LHD gone but not forgotten

Another thumbs up for for Mark and his guys - did some alignment work for me on Geoff's recommendation.

Also a big thank you to Geoff who has bailed me out of loads of problems over the past couple of years. Would highly recommend him if you want a top bloke who knows his way around a Disco, is great value and will always help even if it means putting himself out massively.

Outstanding service from Geoff & Mark at Top Marks.

My usual Hunter alignment centre on the South Coast wasted 11/2 hours & failed to get caster within spec after new front lower suspension arms fitted, claiming that the arms were of poor quality. Geoff had not been involved & I had not met him before, arranged to meet me at Top Marks where his diagnosis of a spun cam washer was confirmed & car set to correct spec within 20min. Good to find people who do know what they are doing & also Geoff refused all offers of payment for his time & expenses-again outstanding!

Seems a common problem with fitting the camber washers. Easy enough to fit but it would seem that when going to the alignment place all so often the good work that has been done by the specialist gets ruined by someone with poor knowledge of camber adjustment washers and bolts!

We spoke to Geoff about this one and he confirmed our thoughts but still kindly met up and looked at the job.

Thank you to Geoff for his charitable work once again, it's worth travelling the few extra miles to get someone who knows what he is doing to do these jobs. I do - he's a 109 miles away from me but I take my car to him rather than the masses of people I know closer to me.

As to the poor quality comment - No never mind, it would be rude anyway, these people have no idea to the lengths we go to, to secure a quality option!

Hats off to TopMarks...!

Today I did an 80 mile round trip in search of people who know what they are doing - relying on recommendations from this forum.

Barry put my D3 on their Hunter rig and very quickly declared that everything was within tolerance. He talked me through all the different camber/caster/toe/wheel ahead readings and wouldn't take any money from me as no adjustments were necessary.

It was the least I could do to 'buy him a drink'... Smile

These guys have the right kit and the right attitude. 10 out of 10.

Good price on tyres too.

Thoroughly recommended.

Decided to visit TopMarks this morning.

It was a 120 mile round trip, but I'm glad I choose them to do my alignment.

Billy took the time to show me exactly what he was doing, and it was clear they knew what they were talking about.

Top bunch of lads.

Thumbs Up

Do they put the car into tight geometry mode when doing the alignment?

I did it while sitting waiting as I have my own IID tool.

Didn't ask if they had it.

Replied to your comment on the RSS site as well.

Thumbs Up

Another visit to Topmarks today, following new rear suspension overhaul with Woody32.

New suspension done 2k miles, no uneven wear on the tyres (well done Woody32 Thumbs Up), just for peace of mind and that a check should be done- only just a couple of adjustments on the panrods(?) which wasn't renewed at the time of rear suspension change.

Great service.

Wheel Alignment & Tyres in NW London

Had my tracking done last weekend by the Edgeware Tyre Brigade. Awesome job and only £40.

Cracking bunch of blokes and none of the up-selling that is evident with the big chains. They also keep an enormous stock of PW tyres.
