Hybrid TV

as I have specified this on my order, I was just wondering if anyone has had a D3 07 delivered yet with it and if so, does the freeview tuner pick up the radio channels as well?, I know the BMW TV option doesn't!, it would be great if the LR one did, ie radio 5,6 &7 for starters

haven't got it yet!

I had an analog tv in an E60 bmw before, it was brilliant, used to listen to the ginger winger (weakest link) on the way home from work most days...surprisingly useful for when you have to take the missus shopping......"I'll just wait in the car dear, you take as long as you like!......(tunes to sport)"

That’s exactly why I’ve ordered it on mine; however the mere thought of the BOSS shopping unmonitored scares the hell out of me. Crying or Very sad
Brute force and ignorance, the D3 does the rest.

You get freeview. Where I live it can only pick up analogue but I went to Cardiff on Saturday, turned on the TV and there were stacks of channels, I was sat in the Ikea car park watching a Black & White movie on Film Four with a crystal clear pic. Everything you can get on Freeview at home you can get on the car. The TV really does work well apart from the fact that you can't alter the brightness of the screen unless I just haven't found that yet.
You can't pick up the radio stations, just free music TV.

Did I see right on the RRS site that you now get a lights on light on the dash (I have not been drinking, honest!!!)??? does it work with lights on auto? I normally rely on the "second switch" principle of making sure lights are on auto and the indicator stalk is pushed forward. Then U get a nice blue warning light on the dash when your lights are on! Laughing
