Ah those were the days! S'pose U were/are a Merillion fan??
marillion were OK, saw them at Glasgow Student union...lost it when fish went imho, I used to think they were great til I went and saw Genesis at Ingleston in 1982....now that WAS a night to remember!
nowadays there is always dream theatre, ozric tentacles etc and Andy Latimer (Camel) is still producing great music, as are others from the 'Canterbury Scene' such as Richard Sinclair etc
Still listen to ELP when I get a chance!2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

Nope, just digital TV signals which break up all the time and the sound is dodgy. The screen goes into pixels mode quite frquently too.
Sorry Dr D but having spent £500 on it I wouldn't be ordering it on my next car

A bit off topic but hey it might be of interest to sombody out there. I had a BMW 530 prior to the Disco and this had the TV option which was also rubbish for reception and made me think that I would never spec it on a car again. In fact the car before that was an X5 and that had the TV option which was also rubbish, but then again that got stolen from the front of my house after 12 days of ownership along with the girlfriends mini but thats another story.
The point of this post was that I wanted to connect my Ipod Video to the BMW I-Drive but there is only an Aux Audio and no Video input so I bought a TV modulator from Ebay for approx £15 which has a normal video/Audio in signal from the ipod and then modulates this onto a TV signal. My idea was to install the modulator inline with the TV antenna and then have this as the video signal by tuning the TV to the modulated signal. Too be honest I never got round to installing it and still have the modulator here gathering dust, but I think it could be a fairly elegant solution to getting a video signal up on the satnav screen without having to hack the car about too much.
The video modulator I bought is made by a company called 'Skytronic' I have posted a link to one on ebay, but did not by from this guy but it gives you an idea of the type of device.
It has a scart input as well and runs from a 12v supply so you could also plug in all sorts of video inputs as well such as a playstation, DVD player or Car PC. Also if you used a Scart switch you could have multiple inputs etc.... One thing it won't overcome is the video in motion problem but if this is not an issue for you then I would be interested to hear if anybody with the TV option gets it working and also its cheap

Might be a silly question but does the Hybrid TV have to be fitted when the car is built, or can it be programmed in after? What I mean is, we have the screen in the SE already for the satellite navigation, can we then take the car back to Land Rover and pay them to "program" the TV function into that?
And is it worth it?
