Just out of curiosity, how much do you think I make from selling one Discovery 3? Question

If LR and more dealers really took notice of the comments and feedback on this site then they should understand just how worthy a cause it is to them Wink

Mr. Griff,

There are certainly some issues you have with my profession. I am sure that you have formed them over many visits to diffrent dealers throughout the country, and you are certainly entitled to them.
I will welcome you to experience my dealership if you are willing to change to a company that does care about its clients.

I do need to make as much money as I can though, my Bentley needs new tyres, my cleaner and my cook both want pay rises and the bar bill from my club has come in for last month. But not to worry, I will sell a few cars this weekend and buy a helicopter - the ultimate off roader?!?

Confused

Mr Dealer...it's not me you have to convince...I can assure you Wink ....I get on with my dealer(s) like the proverbial blazin' house Very Happy ...and wax lyrical about them frequently.

But clearly not all others in your 'profession' take the same approach to customer care that you might and it's a crying shame to read some members experiences with LR dealerships.

My point, which you seemed to overlook, is that this site offers you a collective snapshot of real customers dealings with you(the dealers), LR and the D3.....and it would be very, very remiss to discount that as not relative and valuable information Wink

Now ...if I come down to see you ...will you let me have a ride in your chopper Very Happy

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Who cares what you make, the customer will always want it cheaper Wink

Anyone who works in a sales orientated role is viewed like this, but it is probably fair if business is gained through a forum such as this recognition is made. Especially as the young chap who owns the site has IMO created probably one of the best sales tools for all LR dealers in the world. In fact many of the users contribute to the forum (for no personal gain) to enable it to run smoothly. Some members even run off road events and the like to raise funds, recent activity has included the raffling of a 2 way radio.

So please don't be offended by DG's post he was really sticking up for the forum (oh and he is welsh Wink )

I've heard he's worse than a Scotsman and will stoop to any level to negotiate a deal......Watch out for TIUTA inferences Wink
