I have gone and done it

Well I have done it, taken the plunge and ordered my LR3, V8 HSE, 7 seater, bonatti grey, with ebony leather, all the options are on the link below:

http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10534/lr3.pdf

I have also gone for the tow hitch receiver and the draw bar / adaptaball set from the RRS. Carpets, seat covers have also been included, did not go for the rear diff, as this would take another 3 months, as it is should be March 15th. I went for the LR3, for 2 reasons, with the money saved I can buy the wife something nice, its been a tough few months, but mainly I love the ruggedness of the LR3 over the RRS. I will fit the dual battery etc. as it becomes available (come on drivesafe!!!) and replace the 12v sockets in the back with the magcode ones which I think are great. The ARB fridge will fit in the back, they make some locks to secure it, so will order some and see if the 3rd row will accomodate them. Total price for all the accessories and car, delivered to my door is 260,000 AED, just about bang on 40k GBP, car will actually arrive beginning of March, but they need 10 days to get everything done. I have also extended the warranty and servicing contract to 5 years.

We will have to wait and see what issues there are with it, Im prepared for them but I'm hoping they won't be too bad, God knows there have been enough with the P38!!!!!!! All in all I'm pretty chuffed.

Alex

Thanks for the help. I'm not sure my mouth can stretch that wide but maybe it will next week, as TFC says.
