Some of this comes across as "Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells".
Me? I don't care what they have on their passports. I don't expect them to care what I have on mine. I, and they, have bigger issues to worry about in this world than what someone's passport says about their sexuality.

I think it has everything to do with everyone.
Depending how this plays out over time, we may have to adjust our attitudes accordingly as the law may be changed to reflect future potential legal challenges.
Our passports may have to change, how we interact with 'these' people (sorry just generalisation) so on and so forth.
Many of us come from a generation where if someone wasn't 'straight' you would be abused at best or given a good kicking for fun.
So i'm with Narpy on this, we are entitled to highlight our views as these views may be taken onboard by the opinion formers and politicians who make the laws.

I must admit to being a bit confused this went very quickly from a comment about gender neutrality to trans genderism, which are two different things.
If gender is what you identify with, then does that mean the same for race?==================================

With this issue however, there is no choice, you are only ever one thing or the other, there is no random in between, nice to have option depending on how you feel that day. Yet everybody else is expected to fall into line with thinking there is, for fear of upsetting somebody, not a chance, it all sounds like the story of the Emperor's New Clothes to me.
Like I said in the thread title, this gender neutral thing, I'm not having it.Mods:

Shocking!
Bet some of them don't know how to write "The Emperor's New Clothes" either.
Thanks for correcting

Sometimes you don’t have a choice, just because a few want to be different should the whole world change laws and processes to suit their feelings? Factually, you are one or the other, how can you not be?
It feels at times this is being rammed down our throats, workplaces are bending over backwards to highlight it, we even had a mandatory training course/discussion on LBGT and fly the flags on that day.
If you want to be different then fine, but don’t ram it down everyone’s throats, it’s gone too far now.Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Actually it has everything to do with everybody who cares about the fall out of these things - less than 1% of the population are registered as gender 'neutral' and already we have schools adopting gender 'neutral' policies, whatever they are! It may even be happening in work places for all I know.
I don't want my kids to be subjected to anymore 'pc' policies, just so the school can tick some boxes to show how in touch they are with embracing diversity.

There's something becoming mentioned more and more in the press and as forward thinking as I try to be, I just simply cannot accept it.
I'm referring to gender neutrality and people who insist that they don't see themselves as one thing or the other and claim to be somewhere in the middle. This, for me is just going too far: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/4156...-passports
It's not a choice, it's a given, you're either one thing or the other and to claim that you're somewhere in the middle is pretty attention seeking in my book.
I'm absolutely fine with anybody being whoever they want to be but please don't try to defy science and biology and convince me there's a third or fourth choice because I'm not having it.
Maybe I'm on my own thinking this way but I've had 50 odd years of knowing what I thought was proven by science and now, driven by our own politically correct load of b*****ks, I'm suddenly being told I was wrong.
Feel free to tell me I'm wrong but I think you'll be up against it.
Narpy,
You aren't wrong, you are just confusing sex with gender.
