Immobilised me or the car? 😭

I’m absolutely stumped! I can’t get my car and it appears to be an immo issue. Please help if you can?

The car immo light is flashing when I turn the key. A scan with JLR SDD registered a transponder not recognised issue.

Here’s what I’ve done in an attempt to resolve the issue:

1. Ordered new key and programmed it with JLR SDD 164
2. Sent cluster in for repair (resolder the two know chips for dry joins)
3. Replaced positive and negative battery cable.
4. Replaced battery
5. Replaced brake switch
6. Replaced ignition switch
7. Replaced immo antenna
8. Replaced BCM and reprogrammed with JLR SDD.

All modules and responding correctly, the only thing is, now I’m having trouble programming the keys. One in 10 attempts works but the immo light continues to flash and no crank.

I’ve come so far, I really don’t want to quit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Giggity

Sorry I can't help - but it might help to complete your profile to show what car you are taking about - D3, D4 maybe even D5?

Good luck

Are you sure the new key is a combatable one as some of the cheaper ones will not work even when reprogrammed.

Maybe a wet ecu or corroded connector
